DAILY UPDATE

A small AI team beat big tech on a hard thinking test at a much lower cost

Poetiq took the top spot on the ARC AGI 2 test by smartly combining existing AI models instead of building a new one, and did it for about half the cost of its main rival.

  • Poetiq reached 54% accuracy using Gemini 3 Pro at $30 per task, while Google’s Deep Think scored 45% at $77

  • Their system can adapt to new models in hours without retraining

  • They became the first team to pass the 50% mark on this benchmark, where others were stuck near 5% months ago

This shows how fast AI reasoning is improving and proves that small teams can compete with big companies by using smart systems instead of huge budgets.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT

Poetry tricks are fooling AI into giving dangerous answers

A new study shows that turning harmful questions into poems can fool top AI models and make them share unsafe content.

  • Testing of 25 major AI models showed a 62% success rate for poetry based tricks

  • Gemini 2.5 Pro failed every time, while GPT-5 nano resisted all attacks

  • The trick unlocked content about weapons, hacking, and mind control

This matters because AI safety keeps facing new tricks, and even simple methods like poetry can break defenses, making AI harder to control and more risky over time. Models from OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic were part of the testing.

The Future of Shopping? AI + Actual Humans.

AI has changed how consumers shop by speeding up research. But one thing hasn’t changed: shoppers still trust people more than AI.

Levanta’s new Affiliate 3.0 Consumer Report reveals a major shift in how shoppers blend AI tools with human influence. Consumers use AI to explore options, but when it comes time to buy, they still turn to creators, communities, and real experiences to validate their decisions.

The data shows:

  • Only 10% of shoppers buy through AI-recommended links

  • 87% discover products through creators, blogs, or communities they trust

  • Human sources like reviews and creators rank higher in trust than AI recommendations

The most effective brands are combining AI discovery with authentic human influence to drive measurable conversions.

Affiliate marketing isn’t being replaced by AI, it’s being amplified by it.
