DAILY UPDATE

A new AI app wants to manage health for the whole family in one place.
Fitbit founders James Park and Eric Friedman have launched Luffu, an AI app that tracks health data for everyone in the family, from kids and parents to even the family dog.
Luffu brings together health info that is usually split across many apps, doctor sites, and paper files, and flags issues when something seems wrong
Users can ask the AI health questions in plain language and add updates using voice, photos, or text
The startup is self-funded, built by a team of about 40 people, and the public beta waitlist is now open
This matters because most AI health tools focus on one person, not families. As more people care for kids, aging parents, and pets, a family-first health app could save time, reduce stress, and change how everyday health is managed.

TODAYβS HIGHLIGHT

OpenAIβs CEO talks about AGI, an AI-led future, and rising tension with partners.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman spoke with Forbes about bold plans for the company, big claims about AGI, concerns inside OpenAI, and public clashes with Elon Musk and Microsoft.
Altman said he wants to hand control of OpenAI to an AI model, saying if AI can run companies, it should run his first.
He claimed OpenAI has basically built AGI, but Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella pushed back and called their bond a frenemy relationship.
Forbes reported Altman has stakes in 500+ companies, while some staff worry OpenAI is moving too fast in too many directions.
This matters because Sam Altman shapes the AI story more than anyone else. His bold claims keep OpenAI in the spotlight, but they also raise real questions about focus, trust, and delivery as the race for AGI speeds up.
