Apple Introduces a New AI Code Generator That Breaks Traditional Rules
Apple has released a new AI model for code generation on the Hugging Face platform, called DiffuCode-7B-cpGRPO.
DiffuCode-7B-cpGRPO can generate multiple parts of code at once, making it faster and more structured.
It's based on an open-source model from Alibaba, and Apple has custom-trained it with over 20,000 high-quality coding samples.
A new training step called coupled-GRPO helped Apple boost its performance by 4.4% on a well-known coding benchmark.
