DAILY UPDATE

A new smart ring can turn quick voice ideas into clean notes with simple on-device AI.
Core Devices has launched the Index 01, a small AI smart ring that records short voice ideas and turns them into notes, reminders, or calendar items. It works without the internet, has no subscription, and runs on local AI.
The ring sits on your index finger and uses a thumb button for fast voice capture.
Voice clips sync to your phone and are processed by a local open-source speech system.
The battery lasts up to two years, and each clip can be up to five minutes.
This shows a shift toward simple, focused tools in a market crowded with big, complex AI gadgets. It hints that people may want small devices that do one job well instead of large all-in-one machines.

Last Time the Market Was This Expensive, Investors Waited 14 Years to Break Even
In 1999, the S&P 500 peaked. Then it took 14 years to gradually recover by 2013.
Today? Goldman Sachs sounds crazy forecasting 3% returns for 2024 to 2034.
But weβre currently seeing the highest price for the S&P 500 compared to earnings since the dot-com boom.
So, maybe thatβs why theyβre not alone; Vanguard projects about 5%.
In fact, now just about everything seems priced near all time highs. Equities, gold, crypto, etc.
But billionaires have long diversified a slice of their portfolios with one asset class that is poised to rebound.
Itβs post war and contemporary art.
Sounds crazy, but over 70,000 investors have followed suit since 2019βwith Masterworks.
You can invest in shares of artworks featuring Banksy, Basquiat, Picasso, and more.
24 exits later, results speak for themselves: net annualized returns like 14.6%, 17.6%, and 17.8%.*

TODAYβS HIGHLIGHT

A big new study shows how people use Copilot in very different ways across devices and times.
Microsoft looked at 37.5M Copilot chats and found clear patterns in how people use the AI during the day, through the year, and on different devices.
Health and wellness questions were most common on phones at all hours.
Advice seeking grew through the year as people used AI more like a guide.
Late nights brought more deep topics like faith, life, and meaning, while relationship chats jumped around Valentineβs Day.
Programming was strong in January, while social topics grew later as more everyday users joined in.
These findings show how peopleβs needs shift by device, time, and season, helping future AI tools become more aware of context and more helpful.
